What's in a Name: Seeker's Heart

Our name came about thanks to a beloved English teacher. At the end of our junior year, each student was given a descriptive word. One of us got Seeker, the other, Heart. You can guess who's who...

We combined the two together to symbolize the beautiful picture of the ideal Christian: a faithful follower who has a seeker's heart. Our mission as Christians is to constantly be seeking and serving Jesus that he might become the King of our hearts. Our mission as bloggers is to deliver this message in a beautiful and helpful way. We turned to the Bible to find scripture for this idea, and as always, God's Word did not disappoint.

But if from there you seek the Lord your God, you will find him if you seek him with all your heart and with all your soul. Deuteronomy 4:29

Beautiful Mission

We have been blessed with this mission to carry out God's great plan for the world and for each of us as individuals. God has given us so many amazing, inspiring blessings-- a few of which are celebrated on this blog! He is the ultimate creative. If we seek the Lord, he will soften our hearts so that we may reside in his presence. Let's glorify God in our creations, experiences, and lives!
